Educational Qualification Required  Graduate in Pharmacy + MBA (Sales & Marketing) or equivalent
Experience Required Minimum of 5 yrs
Key Purpose (Position Summary)
To lead the sales for the assigned location or geography, drive business development strategy, achieve sales for specific location or geography build a long-lasting relationship with customers at key decision-makers and constantly win more work, identify more business potential wherein there is potential opportunity to generate sales, and expand the market and penetrate sales.

Key Expectations
  • Lead the overall business development activities for the life-science sector for specific location or geography and be accountable for overall revenue generation for specific region/location and update Head CBD
  • Involve business planning exercise for specific location or geography, study IQVIA data of top 50 pharma companies, identify which of them already penetrated by BioQuest, which are yet to be penetrated, create a plan for specific location/geography and run it through Head CBD and get it approved.
  • Also, plan Therapy wise coverage for a prospective client, identify business potential and position Bio Quest’s Strategy, solutions, products, and make a concerted effort to penetrate such potential target client’s therapy-wise, propose to Head CBD and get it approved.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources viz. Consulting and Solutioning team, Product team, SME team, Sr. VP operations, and group heads operations, Head CBD
  • Use consultative selling expertise to respond optimally to customer needs and identify business potential to create a strategic, long-term partnership with your customers for specific location/geography
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings for specific location/geography
  • Organize and manage industry events and user groups to generate market interest for specific location/geography
  • Hold a regular conversation with a prospective customer and identify challenges being faced by them and work with the internal team and offer solutions most effective for them
  • Convert active engagement into a meeting and active meeting into proposal and proposal leading to order finalization and establish long-term and lasting relationships with prospective customers.
  • Based on the understanding of the customer requirement work with a cross-functional team like Consulting and solutioning team, operations team, IT, and product services team and work out a winning proposal. Involve Head CBD and take his guidance on which team should be involved
  • Establish systems to capture all the active leads in form of software systems and make them available for the team for preparing a proposal
  • Make a presentation to the prospective clients and solve their questions directly or through the product, solutioning team, Operations team as the case may be.
  • Work through client personnel and help them to put a strong business case to present it internal to their management and thereby helping to win the proposal
  • To remain constantly in touch with the client and ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved all the time. To ensure project delivery is as per the expectation of the client.
  • To engage customers and take regular feedback from them and suggest necessary changes internally so that their concerns are addressed from time to time.
  • Constantly engage the existing client, nurture a deep relationship with key decision-makers and facilitate winning more work from each one of them
  • As part of marketing effort, Pro-bono workshops are conducted with clients to build good-will gestures and foster relationships for specific location/geography
  • To track Sales generation for specific Location/geography and analyze plan vs actual
  • Participate in various Forums and Seminars where there is an opportunity for BioQuest to make an impact and influence prospective customers for your location /geography
  • Exceed quarterly sales targets by selling BioQuest’s services and solutions
  • Territory research to formalize a go-to-market strategy and create qualified target accounts
  • Maintaining long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation while being able to generate short term results
